💨 Abstract
A tragic coal mine flood in Gansu province, China, resulted in the deaths of three workers on Monday. The incident occurred at about 610 meters (2,000 feet) underground in the Jingmei Energy Co. mine, with 133 workers present. The bodies of the victims were found 18 hours after the flooding, while the other 130 workers were safely evacuated within an hour.
