💨 Abstract
In 2025, HIV-positive protesters in Haiti marched to the prime minister's office, risking stigma to highlight the shortage of HIV medication due to U.S. aid cuts. Over 150,000 Haitians live with HIV, and clinics are closing. The cuts have halted prevention efforts, raising fears of increased infections amidst gang violence and poverty. Nonprofits are scrambling to secure funding as medication supplies dwindle, putting lives at risk.
