💨 Abstract
A team of British climbers led by Lukas Furtenbach successfully climbed Mount Everest in record time, using xenon gas treatment for quicker acclimatization. This method, although controversial, aims to reduce the environmental impact by decreasing the time climbers spend on the mountain, thereby reducing waste and garbage. The team spent only a week on Everest, compared to the usual eight weeks, which significantly cuts down on human waste and resources needed.
