💨 Abstract
The UN's human rights office in Colombia has alerted that five Indigenous groups in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountain range are at risk of "physical and cultural" extinction due to armed groups and insufficient state protection. The groups—Kogui, Wiwa, Kankuamo, Arhuaco, and Ette Naka—face violence, displacement, and interference from non-state armed groups.
