💨 Abstract
Following severe flooding in Guangdong, China, about 30,000 people in Huaiji County were evacuated after heavy rains submerged half the roads and caused widespread power outages. The Suijiang River overflowed, turning streets into canals. Tropical storm Wutip and subsequent monsoon rains caused the flooding, which left high-rise buildings and cars partially submerged. Rescue efforts included evacuating hospital patients and delivering supplies to vulnerable residents.
