💨 Abstract
Unemployment claims in the U.S. dropped to 245,000 last week, remaining at historic lows. The four-week average increased slightly to 245,500, and the number of people receiving benefits fell to 1.95 million. While job gains are moderate at 124,000 monthly, recent data indicate a slowing job market.
