đź’¨ Abstract
Investors in Asia saw gains as second round trade talks between the US and China were heading up. Tech stocks in the US climbed, especially Tesla (recovering from the previous day's losses), Nvidia, and Apple, with the S&P 500 closing 1% higher. The US job market remained steady but grew less sharply, showing economic resilience despite trade uncertainties. US crude oil was 3 cents lower, while the yen was eased to 144.4
