In May 2025, China's exports increased by 4.8% year-over-year, but this growth was lower than anticipated. Shipments to the U.S. dropped nearly 10%, while total imports fell by 3.4%, resulting in a trade surplus of $103.2 billion. Exports to the U.S. were $28.8 billion, and imports from the U.S. decreased by 7.4%
