💨 Abstract
On June 24, 2025, Dutch authorities investigated possible sabotage after a power outage disrupted rail services near Schiphol Airport during a NATO summit. Minister David van Weel suggested the fire in rail cables could be intentional, though the culprit remained unknown. Tens of thousands of police and defense personnel were deployed for massive security around the summit. The investigation coincided with pro-Russian hackers launching denial-of-service attacks on NATO-related organizations.
