💨 Abstract

After a intense 12-day war between Israel and Iran, prompted by Israeli airstrikes, a U.S.-negotiated ceasefire is holding. Iranian Kurdish dissident groups, who have been closely monitoring Iran's stability, are trying to organize politically and avoid armed conflict. They are cautious about the fragile security in their northern Iraq region and the potential repercussions of premature mobilization. Kurdish groups have differing views on Kurdish separatism and face internal coordination challenges.
