💨 Abstract
In Nigeria, at least 14 soldiers were killed and 10 wounded in a clash with over 300 armed gunmen in the north-central Niger State. The military conducted strikes and engaged the gunmen, reporting significant enemy losses. The attack involved gangs operating from the Kwanar Dutse Forest, a known hideout in the region. The clash follows decades of conflict between pastoralist and farming communities.
