đź’¨ Abstract
The Shas ultra-Orthodox party announced on Wednesday its withdrawal from Israel's governing coalition, leaving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a parliamentary minority. The party's departure follows a dispute over proposed legislation regarding military draft exemptions for its constituents. A second ultra-Orthodox party had already left the coalition earlier in the week over the same issue.
