Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas resigned on Thursday due to probes into his business activities, sparked protests demanding his resignation. President Gitanas Nausėda confirmed the resignation. Social Democrat Paluckas became Prime Minister late last year after a three-party coalition formed post-October elections.
