💨 Abstract
North Korea officially opened a new beach resort in Wonsan-Kalma, hoping to revitalize its struggling economy through tourism. The resort, which can host nearly 20,000 people, features water parks and various beach activities. Although it has begun attracting domestic visitors, its long-term success remains uncertain. The country is yet to fully reopen its borders to international tourists, and past attempts to restart international tours have had limited success.
