💨 Abstract

Since April 2023, Sudan's civil war between the military and Rapid Support Forces has caused severe displacement and hunger crises. The conflict, centered in Darfur, Kordofan, and Khartoum, has resulted in atrocities like ethnic cleansing and sexual violence. Millions face famine and disease outbreaks, with infrastructure and cultural sites severely damaged. Efforts for peace talks have failed, with the conflict spreading nationwide.
