💨 Abstract
An Israeli airstrike in eastern Lebanon killed several people, including Mohamed Wishah, a senior member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), and his bodyguard, Mufid Hussein. The strike occurred as they were traveling to Syria. The Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency reported six deaths and ten injuries. This is part of a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting Palestinian officials in Lebanon since the Israel-Hamas war began in 2023.
