💨 Abstract
The Boar’s Head deli meat plant, shuttered after a listeria outbreak that killed 10 people, may reopen soon. Despite reassurances from the USDA and Boar’s Head, recent inspections found sanitation issues similar to those that caused the outbreak at other Boar’s Head plants. These issues include meat residue, blocked drains, and poor hygiene among staff.
