💨 Abstract
Pope Leo XIV concluded his summer vacation by hosting a special Mass and lunch for homeless and poor individuals, along with church volunteers, at his lakeside estate in Castel Gandolfo, Italy. The Mass, attended by 110 people, emphasized the shared dignity and poverty of all within the church. Leo, who previously worked with the poor in Peru, presided over the event and was to later host a luncheon at the Vatican’s environmental educational center named Borgo Laudato Si'.
