💨 Abstract
Israeli protesters staged a strike demanding their government negotiate for the release of hostages held in Gaza. Around 50 hostages are believed to remain captive, with only about 20 thought to be alive. The protests, led by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum, included supporters across the political spectrum and highlighted fears that further conflict could endanger the hostages.
