💨 Abstract
Tens of thousands of Brazilians protested against a bill that could reduce former President Jair Bolsonaro's prison sentence for attempting a coup. Demonstrations occurred in major cities, with protesters chanting against amnesty and the bill's sponsor. The legislation, if passed, would shorten Bolsonaro's sentence by allowing concurrent sentences and easing parole conditions. President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has indicated he might veto it.
