💨 Abstract
On Saturday, an off-duty U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent was shot in a Manhattan park during an apparent robbery attempt. The 42-year-old agent was stable and expected to survive. Officials stated he wasn't targeted due to his job. The agent, unarmed, was sitting with a woman when two men on a motorcycle approached, and one of the attackers was injured when the agent defended himself. A suspect, Miguel Mora, was detained at a hospital.
