In June, U.S. consumer prices rose as Donald Trump's tariffs began to affect the economy. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.3% monthly, with an annual inflation rate of 2.7%. Excluding food and energy, core inflation rose 0.2% monthly, and 2.9% annually.
