💨 Abstract

USCIS has updated its policy on immigration document photos, limiting their validity to three years to enhance national security and prevent identity fraud. Only photos taken by USCIS or authorized entities will be accepted. This change affects several forms, including I-90, I-485, N-400, and N-600. The new guidelines are effective immediately, ending previous COVID-19 flexibilities that allowed older photos.
