💨 Abstract
The Washington D.C. police have imposed a curfew for minors in the Navy Yard area starting Friday and continuing through the weekend to prevent gathering at night. The curfew covers a wide area between South Capitol Street and Virginia Avenue Southeast, including national parks and part of the Anacostia River. This is the fourth instance this summer that D.C. police have implemented a "Juvenile Curfew," with previous restrictions in northeast D.C. and the U Street corridor.
