💨 Abstract

Tonight, there's a chance to see the Northern Lights across England, Wales, and Scotland, potentially as far south as the Midlands, according to the Met Office. The best viewing times are around midnight in areas with clear skies. While summer is not the peak season, intense geomagnetic activity can make the aurora visible. Ideal viewing spots are rural, dark areas, north-facing coastlines, or elevated locations.
