💨 Abstract
A trusted personal assistant, Hemalatha Jayaprakash, stole over £166,000 from her former boss Nin Rehal while living in a £1 million home. She used the money for personal expenses and sent some to her family in India. Jayaprakash was sentenced to two years and three months in prison for fraud and abuse of position. She admitted to her husband that she was going to court, not viewing offices as she claimed.
