💨 Abstract
England warns of a potential shortfall of 5 billion litres of water daily by 2055 due to climate change, population increase, and technological demands. Major investments, fixing leaks, water recycling, desalination, and smart meters are proposed to prevent water rationing by 2030s. The government plans £104 billion investment in the water sector and to control planning for new reservoirs. Additionally, managing demand and improving infrastructure are highlighted.
