💨 Abstract
Scott McCormick and his girlfriend, Helena Boshwick, were booted off a Ryanair flight from Birmingham to Palma de Mallorca after they chose not to pay extra for seat reservations. After all the passengers had boarded, they were told the flight was full and only one seat was available. Both parties eventually boarded the next flight at an extra cost of £100 without receiving satisfactory refunds, lingering complaints of dysfunctional handling, and receiving no sign of reimbursement.
