💨 Abstract
A Florida man, Scott Allen Gardner, was arrested for allegedly leaving his 18-month-old son, Sebastian, in a hot truck for over three hours while he had a haircut and drank at a bar. Temperatures reached 92°F, and Sebastian's body temperature was estimated at 111°F. Despite efforts by an officer, Sebastian did not survive. Gardner was charged with aggravated manslaughter and child neglect.
