💨 Abstract
Metro is teaming up with the Black British Initiative (BBI) to enhance representation for Black entrepreneurs in the UK. Over 12 months, they'll feature 13 entrepreneurs, starting with Darren Miller and fashion designer Isabelle Pennington-Edmead. This partnership aims to address cultural and racial barriers facing Black businesspeople, as just 0.24% of UK venture capital went to Black entrepreneurs between 2009-2019.
