💨 Abstract
A three-year-old boy, Daniel Twigg, died after being attacked by large, dangerous dogs at a farm in Milnrow, near Rochdale. His parents, Mark Twigg and Joanne Bedford, are on trial for manslaughter, accused of leaving Daniel unsupervised. The dogs, used as guard dogs and for breeding, were known to be dangerous, with warnings from the RSPCA and local services. Daniel entered the pen unnoticed, leading to a fatal attack.
