A man, Ewan Methven, was sentenced to a minimum of 23 years in prison for murdering his 21-year-old girlfriend, Phoenix Spencer-Horn. On the night of the incident, he stabbed her 20 times, including 10 times in the face, before decapitating her. Over the following weekend, Methven engaged in online activities and used her car and phone to deceive her mother.
