💨 Abstract
A man, Ewan Methven, has been imprisoned for a minimum of 23 years after murdering and decapitating his girlfriend, 21-year-old Phoenix Spencer-Horn, in their home in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire. On the day of the murder, Methven stabbed her 20 times and mutilated her body. He then pretended she was still alive by texting her mother.
