💨 Abstract
After renting a flat in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, to a tenant for £30 a week in 2018, Sandra and Chris Considine had their property destroyed and were unable to enter for seven years. The tenant, a friend of Chris's, left the property in an inhumane state with over 3,000 empty beer cans, some filled with urine, human excrement, and trash. The couple faced extensive cleaning and repair costs.
