💨 Abstract
Attributes like swearing in public, consuming alcohol in specified public places, and other anti-social behaviors may soon incur £100 fines for individuals in certain British seaside towns like Birchington, Margate, Ramsgate, and Broadstairs. Thanet District Council calls this restriction a 'public space protection order' which includes exceptions allowed for those who have a reasonable excuse. Members of the council believe that squashing "foul and abusive language" may increase the areas peacefulness.
