💨 Abstract
Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 20, was found guilty of assaulting two female police officers and a member of the public at Manchester Airport. CCTV footage showed Amaaz throwing 10 punches, breaking PC Lydia Ward's nose. He claimed self-defense, alleging racial abuse towards his mother. The jury could not reach a verdict on additional assault charges, and prosecutors seek a retrial.
