💨 Abstract
On Friday in Belfast, a story time event at a library led by drag performers Lady Portia Di'Monte and Miss Dora Belle was disrupted by protesters who opposed the queens’ involvement with children. The event, which included story readings and sign language storytelling, was intended to be family-friendly and inclusive. Protesters shouted slogans, causing tensions to escalate and leading police to escort the performers away to ensure safety.
