💨 Abstract
A delivery driver was prevented by a hostile crowd from reaching refugees housed in the Britannia Hotel in Canary Wharf. Despite a police escort, the driver was forced to turn back amidst chants of "scum" and "go away." The incident involved anti-migrant protesters and a counter-protest group dressed in pink. Simultaneous demonstrations occurred in Islington, Newcastle, and Epping, with various arrests and police interventions.
