💨 Abstract
A delivery driver attempted to bring food to refugees housed in a hotel in Canary Wharf, but was blocked by a booing anti-migrant mob. The driver, escorted by police, was forced to retreat amid chants of "scum" and "go away." Simultaneously, a flash mob of masked young men joined the protest, setting off flares and chanting. Other protests against migrants in hotels occurred in Islington and Newcastle, with multiple arrests made.
