đ¨ Abstract
Emirates has implemented a blanket ban on the use of portable power banks on flights starting October 1 due to safety concerns. Passengers can bring only one power bank under 100 watt-hours, which must be kept in the seat pocket or under the seat, not in overhead bins. This policy follows incidents where power banks caught fire, making it dangerous due to the risk of thermal runaway.
