💨 Abstract
A woman in her 30s died after being struck by a falling tree branch at Witton Country Park in Blackburn. The incident occurred on Monday night around 8:30 PM while she was walking with a child. Emergency services failed to revive her, and her death is not considered suspicious. The park has since fallen the beech tree involved. A similar incident occurred in June, where a girl died after a tree collapsed in Chalkwell Park.
