💨 Abstract
Paula Hudgell, the adoptive mother of child abuse survivor Tony Hudgell, has revealed her terminal cancer diagnosis, fearing she may not live to see her son’s wedding. Misdiagnosed 14 times, she was finally confirmed with incurable bowel cancer that spread to her lungs. Despite her illness, she continues to advocate for tougher child abuse laws, including Tony’s Law, which increased penalties for child abusers.
