💨 Abstract
Trichophyton indotineae, a more aggressive form of ringworm, is spreading rapidly in the UK, with cases surging by 500% in the past three years. This fungal infection, originating from South Asia, affects the skin, hair, or nails, often appearing as itchy, red, inflamed patches. It spreads through direct contact and can be found in warm, damp environments like gyms.
