💨 Abstract
Ryanair discontinued its Prime subscription service after eight months due to excessive discounts given to members. Launched in March for £79 per year, Prime offered benefits like free seats and travel insurance. Despite 55,000 sign-ups generating £3.9 million, the €6 million in fare discounts resulted in a loss. Existing members can use the service until October 2026, but no new sign-ups are allowed.
