đ¨ Abstract
A 19-year-old prison officer, Alicia Novas, and inmate Declan Winkless, 30, pleaded guilty to misconduct and smuggling contraband into HMP Five Wells. The pair admitted to having a sexual relationship and Novas confessed to smuggling cannabis and mobile phones into the prison. Both also admitted to related charges, including possessing unauthorized items. Novas was remanded into custody, and they are scheduled for sentencing on January 5.
