💨 Abstract
Ringworm, a fungal infection, is on the rise in the UK, particularly in barbershops and gyms. Close-contact grooming and unhygienic practices, along with popular hairstyles like the 'skin fade,' contribute to its spread. Gyms, with shared equipment and frequent skin exposure, also facilitate transmission. Often mistaken for eczema or dermatitis, ringworm can go unnoticed, allowing it to spread.
