💨 Abstract
Asda staff reported exhaustion and blisters after a viral grocery offer led to an overwhelming number of orders. The deal, intended for new online customers, was exploited by many who created fake accounts to receive a £30 discount on a £60+ purchase. This resulted in chaos in stores, with some employees handling over 400 orders in a day. Asda paused the offer after noticing the misuse.
