đź’¨ Abstract
Retro, a photo-sharing app with about a million users, has introduced "Rewind," a feature allowing users to browse old photos from their Camera Roll. This feature is private by default but can be shared. Inspired by the popularity of a similar existing feature, Rewind addresses the issue of users having vast photo collections but rarely engaging with them. It aims to counteract the trend of AI-generated content and "for you" algorithms by emphasizing personal memories.
