💨 Abstract
Elon Musk's company X is updating its Terms of Service to assert its ownership of the "Twitter" trademark, following a challenge from a startup, Operation Bluebird, which filed to trademark the term. X argues it still owns the "Twitter" and "Tweet" trademarks, as well as the bluebird logo. Operation Bluebird, led by lawyers Michael Peroff and Stephen Coates, has been collecting sign-ups for a potential rival service at Twitter.new.
