Global startup investing reached $297 billion in Q1 2026, a 2.5x increase from the previous quarter, driven by four massive deals. OpenAI raised $122 billion at an $862 billion valuation, while Anthropic secured $30 billion at a $380 billion valuation. xAI and Waymo also had significant rounds of $20 billion and $16 billion, respectively.
